BOUILLARGUES Marcel Pagnol in the spotlight at the book fair

Nicolas Pagnol, the grandson of the famous Provençal writer, will be the guest of honor at the 13th Bouillargues book fair which will take place on October 5 and 6.

We’re going to talk a lot about Marius, Fanny, César and the others this weekend in Bouillargues. For its thirteenth edition, the book fair will honor Marcel Pagnol. For the occasion, Sunday, Nicolas Pagnol, the grandson of the famous writer, will be there and he will present works dedicated to his grandfather as well as works adapted into comic strips.

This year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the death of the author of Topaze, The Baker’s Wife, Manon des Sources and The Trilogy. Floryse Grimaud, creator of the Marcel Pagnol Prize, which rewards each year a work retracing childhood memories, will also be present in Bouillargues. Both will host a conference/debate on Saturday October 5 at 6 p.m. at Parc Blachère. Like every year, authors and publishers will be present throughout the day on Sunday to meet their readers. Entrance is free.
