Local authors in the spotlight at the 28th edition of the book fair

This Saturday September 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will take place the 28th edition of the book fair organized by the Vive Montpellier Nord association. Go to the Malbosc greenway, between the avenues of the Buhler brothers and Fès to discover around twenty local authors.

Among its missions, the Vive Montpellier Nord association works to promote local culture and in particular literature by highlighting authors who exist outside of commercial circuits and large publishing houses. Salons are each set up in the heart of a district, thus allowing them to get as close as possible to the people of Montpellier. If at the time of its creation only two book fairs, with that of Figuerolles, existed in Montpellier, since then the model has flourished in the metropolis. “This is excellent news for culture” rejoice the organizers who also wanted to highlight these local authors in parallel with the Comédie du Livre.

This Saturday, September 21, around twenty authors will present their works in Malbosc. An opportunity for everyone to interact with them and discuss literature.
