Frenchman Thibault Muzergues wins Jacques Delors European Book Prize 2024

The committee is made up of eminent European personalities: Pascal Lamy (France), Aglaia Balta (Greece), Enrique Barón Crespo (Spain), Rachida Dati (France), Étienne Davignon (Belgium), Michel Draguet (Belgium), Giuliano da Empoli (Italy), François Gabriel (France), Marius Hansteen (Denmark), Michal Kurtyka (Poland), Denis MacShane (Ireland), Geneviève Pons (France), and Klaus Welle (Germany).

The selected works will be evaluated by a jury of European journalists, chaired this year by Philippe Sands, a renowned Franco-British writer, historian and lawyer. The jury meeting will take place on November 26 at the Ginger restaurant, located in the 8th arrondissement of .

The award ceremony for the 18th Jacques Delors European Book Prize will take place on 11 December at the European Parliament in Brussels. The winner will be awarded a prize of 10,000 euros. The prize was awarded the previous year to Robert Menasse for his book The enlargement, published by Verdier.
