Created in 2017 by the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the pleasure of readingthe Nuits de la lecture have been able to conquer, over the years, an increasingly large audience. This weekend, from Thursday January 23 to Sunday January 26, 2025, the public will be invited to gather throughout on the occasion of thousands of physical and digital eventsmore particularly around the theme of heritageorganized within the framework of the 9e edition of this event.

Some libraries and media libraries in Sicoval are joining the party with proposed activities for young and old.

Livrekikour(en)t in the night

On the one hand, like every year, the media libraries of Donneville, Montbrun-Lauragais and Noueilles will offer their animation outside the walls coordinated by the Reader of the Valley : Livrekikour(en)t in the night. From Thursday, January 23, books will be “dropped” in various places in the three villages and potential readers will be invited to find them and take them away to release them elsewhere (after reading, of course).

A specific internet page makes it possible to collect news of these Livrekikour(en)ts transmitted by their discoverers and smugglers and thus to follow their trail.
