GEMAPI: 130 trees planted to restore waterways in Florensac
GEMAPI (Aquatic Environment Management and Flood Prevention) agents recently continued their ecological restoration efforts in Florensac, with the planting of 130 new trees along the Fontbourranes stream.
This initiative aims to strengthen the stability of the banks while promoting local biodiversity. Among the species planted, we find tamarisk, field maples and blood dogwoods, which will complement the 200 trees already planted in the area in 2023.
-These actions are part of a broader project to preserve and restore aquatic environments, in order to ensure the sustainability of ecosystems and combat the risk of flooding.
