Life in syntropy
Philosophy and principles: the teachings of Ernst Götsch
Dayana Andrade and Felipe Pasini, Éditions Terre Vivante, January 2025

A complete, philosophical and ethical explanation of Ernst Götsch's thought, essential for understanding syntropy and its application in agroecology, in a story that is both enlightening and passionate. We talk about technique, philosophy and concrete cases.

It is a book of “agriculture for philosophers and philosophy for farmers”. This is the second book available on syntropy in French, afterWelcome to Syntropy! by Anaëlle Théry (also by Terre Vivante and sold more than 10,000 copies in less than a year).

We could call it the founding book of syntropy because, unlike the first book which is very practical, this title returns to the theory and exposes the foundations of the method and the reflections of those who practice it. It nevertheless remains very concrete, presenting field cases. Its authors have been documenting the work of Ernst Götsch for around fifteen years, studying it scientifically and testing it with their own hands.
