The progress of preparations for the organization of the 39th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair (FILT), scheduled from April 25 to May 4, 2025, was at the center of the interview held yesterday , Monday, the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Amina Srarfi, with Mohamed Salah Kadri, director of the 2025 edition of the FILT.

The minister underlined the importance of combining efforts to guarantee the success of this cultural event of national and international scope.

She, on this occasion, insisted on the need for rigorous preparation and in-depth reflection in order to renew and enrich the activities of this major event, in particular those intended for children and young people in the areas cultural and creative.

The meeting, which took place in the presence of ministry executives, also made it possible to examine the broad outlines of the organization of the FILT, addressing in particular the logistical and technical aspects, foreign participation, as well as certain questions linked to the cultural program.

As a reminder, the 38th edition of the FILT (April 19-28, 2024), placed under the sign of solidarity with the Palestinian people and having Italy as guest of honor, was marked, in a few figures, by the participation from 25 countries, 314 pavilions, including 154 Tunisian pavilions, 20 official pavilions and nearly 280 various workshops intended for children and young people.
