The 9th edition of Livres en liberté, organized by volunteers from the municipal library, opened in an atmosphere rich in meetings and exchanges around coffee and pastries. Throughout the day, around sixty visitors had the pleasure of being offered a large number of duplicate in very good condition, from donations and of discovering the attractions of the recently completely renovated library.

In the afternoon, a dictation taken from a passage from the book by JMG Le Clésio Fifteen talks in Chinachosen and told by Gérard Jimenez, municipal councilor and writer from Rodilhan, was a great success.

On the podium: Mylène Piron, Jacqueline Derrien, Brigitte Bénazet. And, in 4th and 5th place: Dominique Busi, Renée Robert. All were rewarded by the municipality. This was followed by a snack offered by the town hall, an enriching moment of discussion on the difficulties of dictation and the desire to repeat the exercise. “I had been looking for some time for a village that organized a dictation but I couldn’t find one. I am therefore delighted to have been able to participate. I love words. I will come back with pleasure for a next edition”, said confided Renée. A beautiful day of sharing for all.
