While a few months ago, Ottolenghi had Parisians in a trance by teasing the upcoming arrival of his first restaurant in the capitalhe treats us a little more, this time by revealing a new project of recipe book. But then after vegetables and herbs, what will be its spearhead this time? The answer is simple: highlight a cuisine that feels good.

Comfort to the power of 1000

Comfort. This is the title of this new opus, which leaves very little doubt as to the content of the work. In this new collection, Ottolenghiaccompanied by the chefs Helen Goh, Verena Lochmuller et Tara Wigleyimagined over 100 new dishes to celebrate cooking and intimacy.

Recipes at a time familiar and unpublishednostalgic and modern. By taking all the classics of la comfort food in his own way, the cook takes us on a familiar path, to the destination however surprising. So, a simple pasta dish is transformed here thanks to caramelized onionsroasted hazelnuts and fried sage leaves. And a puree apparently basic is transformed into aligot with garlic and leeks roasted with thyme.

An intimate and universal book
