Visitors will pay €1 per book and €0.50 for three magazines. All types of books will be on sale: from books for toddlers to adult novels, including documentaries and comics. DVDs and board games are not affected. The money collected during the event will be donated to an association.

“We remove damaged books from our collections”
The proposed works are books that we weeded during the year”,
explains Lénaïck Rolland. Weeding a book? It's not gardening, but librarian jargon. Basically, this means that we remove from our collections all books that are damaged, worn, dated or that have not been released for five years, roughly speaking. If we don't weed, there will inevitably come a time when there is no more space and these books take up space for nothing.
