Success was there for this 12th edition of Livres en Fêtesat the village hall, Beaumont-sur-Sarthe (Sarthe), this Saturday, November 16, 2024.
It must be said that the “livresenfêtes72” association did not do things by halves again this year.
Livres en fête, a successful 12th edition in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe.
Many activities were planned throughout the day. A dictation for adults which had more than thirty participants, and a dictation for the youngest with the particularity that this dictation was slammed!
It was Léa Cerveau from “Souffleurs de vers” who came straight from Eure-et-Loire who was in charge of slamming the dictation. » The idea is to take poetry out of its outdated imageto make poetry accessible to everyone, declares the person concerned. We went to meet the fourth graders on Thursday and Friday, from Joncheray college, with whom we did slam workshops, and they were delighted to show their creations to their classmates. “
Many highlights during the day
The day continued with a musical stroll of the company This summer, as well as a family show offered by the company Tetroforth.
One of the highlights of the day was also the conference given by Frédéric Payraudeau on the theme “The Gods of Egypt”which many people followed with interest. At 5:30 p.m., the prize giving ceremony for the strongest dictation took place.
Nicolas Bouchereaupresident of the organizing association, is very satisfied with this 12th edition: “Nearly 490 people came for this new edition. All our authors have congratulated us for the organization and diversity of genres offered. Visitors appreciate that there are not too many authors, this allows them to see the different styles. I would like to thank the municipality of Beaumont for doing everything possible to help us accomplish our cultural mission for the city. »
