Just before Christmas, the group of Pornicais authors, which will organize the Pornic book fair for the third time, Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, in partnership with the town hall and the Intercultural Collective of Authors of Loire-Atlantique (Ciala), take on a new challenge. For this winter edition, nearly thirty authors will welcome visitors in the Navy room. There will be a plethora of works for all tastes: novels, stories, thrillers, travel diaries, photography, poetry and psychology.
Animations and books for children
Children can already look forward to it, because there will be activities and books for them. Jennifer Thomas, author of two children’s books, will present with Polète, Pornic illustrator, their very fun and educational works. The author will tell colorful stories, including Strong nose, just to motivate the most recalcitrant little ones to get up in the morning! A story full of courage and a taste for effort.
Charles Mazarguil, who writes novels for 8-12 year olds, carries a stack of books under his arm, including the one just published for Halloween, entitled Trick or Treat.
And to start this show with nice words, Alain Barré will organize a special Christmas K-Limots, Friday December 6, at 3:30 p.m., at the Sybarite café, the venue for the show’s events. You will have to come and read writings that contain the word Christmas!
The authors promise great literary discoveries, books to win, tattoos offered for children, coloring, in short a very nice winter program to note in the diaries now.
