It is November 1, 2024 that Corinne Lévêque presented his second work, Bleu Horizonpublished by Editions Inkjetsafter his first book A Tunisian summerin 2021.

In these two works, it is about a meeting between two people who are different on several levels.

But if Corinne Lévêque's first book was about a personal story, Bleu Horizon falls under the fiction.

“The Search for Humanity”

“A scientist, Georges, is doing research on cancer. He goes to Brittany because he has heard about blue light to detect disease. »

A study which was launched in 2019 in Lannion.

“Camille is a writer who is in touch with a mayor who is a little aging in his ideas. He will try to take everything from her. »

These two protagonists will meet in a square in Paris, threatened with disappearance.

With other people, they will work to preserve it.

“It’s about the search for humanity, for a better world for youth, which advances on several levels, and for doors that unlock. »

What Corinne Lévêque addresses in this novel is the confrontation of “the borders and limits that surround us”with a note of love, to sweeten it all.

“A rebel”

Bleu Horizonit is also a nod to her own encounters and experiences, particularly when she lived in the Paris region and worked in an environment from which she was not originally:

“I was already involved, particularly when I worked at the Ministry of Equipment, or at the Legion of Honor college for girls. I managed a group of 70 people. »

It was there that she met a woman who supported her in her writing project:

Like Camille, her protagonist, she describes herself as “a slinger”but also a reserved person, “who still loves go towards others.

Today, she thanks this woman in her work, which she had been thinking about for a long time, regularly passing in front of this square, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.

Or again, by “capturing like that, everything that is happening”, and that she “observes on a daily basis”, particularly in his life in Perros-Guirecwhere she has resided for five years.

The Pink Granite Coast is also part of the setting in his novel, and even appears on the cover, with Tomé Island.

The encounters are also those between these two opposite characters who come together.

A theme that the Perrosian author likes to depict and which also reflects her experiences:

“It’s atypical, like when I arrived in the environment I encountered in my work. You have to impose yourself. »
