The 42nd edition of the Brive Book Fair welcomes the winners of the fall's major literary prizes, including Kamel Daoud and Gaël Faye. Radio VINCI Autoroutes, with Francine Thomas, will provide live coverage of this major event for French literature, allowing listeners to experience the meetings and highlights of this unmissable event.

From November 8 to 10, 2024, the Brive Book Fair brings together more than 400 authors for three days of meetings, signings and literary debates. Celebrated as the biggest literary event of the fall after the Book Fair, the fair highlights the winners of the year's major literary prizes.

This year, the public will be able to meet Kamel Daoud, Goncourt Prize for Houris, Gaël Faye, Renaudot Prize for Jacaranda, Miguel Bonnefoy, winner of the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française, and Abdellah Taïa, Prix Décembre and Prix de la langue French.

Radio VINCI Autoroutes will cover the event live, with Francine Thomas on site to interview the authors and go behind the scenes. Among the guests expected this year, Mazarine Pingeot, novelist and essayist, as well as Jérôme Garcin, literary critic and president of this 42nd edition. Maïtena Biraben, former television presenter, will also come, as will Valérie Perrin, successful author known for her sensitive and poignant novels, and Raphaëlle Giordano, whose personal development reach a wide audience.

The Brive Book Fair, organized by the City of Brive with the support of the National Book Center and numerous partners, is much more than just a fair. Over the years, it has become a privileged space for literary exchanges, bringing together writers, readers and critics in a friendly and passionate atmosphere.
