For the first time in its history, the association Verdun construction sites will organize a exceptional sale of at low prices. The event will take place this Thursday, November 7 at 37 rue du Fort-de-Vaux, in the association's premises, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. L'Est Républicain reports that the association originally dedicated to social and professional integration has chosen to promote the book donations it receives by organizing a workshop intended for people in difficulty.

Very low prices

For access to literature for the greatest number of people, the works will be sold at an unbeatable price, count between 50 cents and 1 symbolic euro.

“It is not a question of competing with booksellers,” reassures Karine Schweitzer, socio-professional support for our colleagues, because this book sale will remain exceptional.

The first hours under construction

This sale is carried out within the framework of the system “The First Hours in Construction” (funded by the State and the Department), intended mainly for the most deprived people, beneficiaries of minimum social benefits or people in situations of great exclusion. These people thus have a springboard before attempting an integration project.
