We no longer present Georges Patrick Gleize, the Ariège author with 24 novels and other literary works. He was recently in the premises of the bookstore Les tisseurs de mots. A place he already frequented when the bookstore was called Maison de la presse, commonly called “chez Bruel” by Lavelanetians. “We are happy to be able to welcome Georges Patrick Gleize again to this bookstore. This allows the inhabitants of the Pays d'Olmes, and further afield, to meet one of their favorite local authors. Despite the rain and the wind, they did not hesitate to come and share a few moments and chat with him”, rejoiced Noémie and Martin, the booksellers.

The writer presented his last two , Like the smell of gentiana novel, and The forgotten people of history in Occitaniaa historical work. It was also an opportunity for Georges Patrick Gleize to interact with his readers, among whom he found friends and students he had when he was a teacher.

François Bruel, the former owner of the place, was happy to find Georges with whom he had established friendships. “The release of my next work, In the shadow of magnoliasis scheduled for September 2025. It is a love story between a simple girl and the son of a big boss. The plot, between love and aborted revenge, takes place in the Pays d'Olmes, more precisely in the towns of Dreuilhe and Lavelanet. Like every year, Georges Patrick Gleize will be present on November 8, 9 and 10 at the Brive-la-Gaillarde book fair, one of the largest literary fairs in . All the works of Georges Patrick Gleize can be found in the best bookstores and of course at Les tisseurs de mots in Lavelanet.
