Created in 1911 to manage a small library and give a taste for reading the Association du Well au Chat (Apach), oldest of the Blin associations, tirelessly contributes to the literary influence in Blain.

Every year in the fall, at the time when dead leaves cover the courtyards and gardens, the immortal ones, books, invade the party room by the thousands. Sunday, October 13, all day, Apach will hold its book fair there.

We are expecting around thirty exhibitors to which we will add the books that we collect during the year from the recycler. Something to delight reading enthusiasts who will find the books they are looking for at a good price assure Marie-Paule Couëdel and Anne-Françoise Benard, co-presidents of the association.

Saturday October 12, as a preamble to this book fair and in partnership with the Saint-Émilien library, l’Envol des livres, the organizers are offering an event around books in their new premises (8, rue Jean-Gorin). This event will also mark the launch of our reading club. announce Blandine Bertho-Seigneur and Marie-Ange Moreau, responsible for the Flight of Books.

Saturday October 12, at 4 p.m. at Envol des livres, in Saint-Émilien; Sunday 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the village hall, free, small catering on site, apachblain.com.
