Authors of thrillers, comics, historical novels, books on heritage: they will be in Compreignac on October 12 for the fourth edition of the Compreignac book fair.
Do you like local comics? The beautiful panoramas of Limousin? The cows? The famous Haut-Vienne residents now forgotten? If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, you have a good reason to book your Saturday October 12th.
That day, the town hall of Compreignac and the bookstore of Saint-Sulpice-les-Feuilles invite you to go to their Authors’ Day, fourth edition, on the Montimbert site (3 km from the town, just follow the signposted route). From 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can meet around twenty local authors, including Franck Linol, sponsor of this book fair.
Meetings and signings from authors of detective and historical novels, books on nature and the environment, geography and heritage and even comics are yours for the taking. Myosiris Diffusion, which distributes and distributes books from local publishers, will also be present.
You can also listen to a conference by Christian Penot on “La Résistance à Compreignac” (at 10:30 a.m.), take on a family nature quiz with Jean-Jacques Rabache (all day) or take part in a workshop. You will have the choice between the Graphic Designer-Comicist workshop with Michaël Bettinelli (from 9 years old, at 2 p.m.), the posca workshop with Cécile Gozan (11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.), the watercolor workshop with Véronique Garant ( 11 a.m.-3:45 p.m.) and the calligraphy workshop with Frédéric Fattal (11 a.m.-3:45 p.m.). It’s up to you to make your choice.
