Bleu Héron Bretagne is organizing the first “Quartier Livres” book fair, on Saturday May 11, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., rue Tanguy-du-Châtel, in the Saint-Pierre district, in Brest. In partnership with the local town hall, the Maison pour tous, Le Maquis and the Sapristi solidarity bookstore, Brest residents of all ages, young and old, are invited to meet new Breton writers and attend activities.

A meeting around reading and writing

Several highlights will take place throughout this literary event: poetic reading by Anne-Laure Lussou (all audiences, from 6 years old) at 2:15 p.m., intervention by Othman Ihraï at 2:30 p.m., pictorial writing workshop with Fred Larsen at 3 p.m., meeting with Mikaël Tygréat on dyslexia at 3:30 p.m., reading “emotional landscapes” (for adults and accompanied children, six people maximum) by resistance fighter Diane Aïla from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., and drawing class (from 10 years old) with illustrator Dimitri Gadou at 5:30 p.m.
