Beautiful: men and women of letters to discover this Sunday at the Book Fair

The first “Beaux-Livres” book fair takes place in the Beaux multipurpose room. Join us this Sunday until 5:30 p.m. to meet men and women of letters.

“Beaux-Livres” is an event supported by Amiplume, an association created in 2008 bringing together around fifty authors from Haute- and neighboring departments. Its president Maryse Mezard and its vice-president Jean-Paul Arsac, from Beaux, are keen to promote literary culture in the department.

Old books to devour with your eyes

Amiplume chose Beaux for its first fall event.

Alongside meetings with authors, Amiplume also presents an exceptional exhibition of old books from several private collections, from the 17th to the 20th century.

Two quizzes, one for children and the other for adults, allow the public to test their knowledge in a good mood. The results will be announced on Sunday at 5 p.m.
