Author Geneviève Calvé has chosen to launch her very first collection of texts De l’existence des quais in her native region of Grand-Remous.
Around forty people came to the Jean-Guy Prévost Center in Grand-Remous on the afternoon of May 3, to attend the launch of this first book.
The literary director of La Note Verte, Yves Carles, was of the opinion that the Grand-Remous event was also a political gesture:

On the existence of the quays is a work which brings together around forty stories relating to moments of life around the quays. The books cost $20 and are available for sale on the La Note Verte website.
Geneviève Calvé will be present on May 23 at the JR L’heureux library in Maniwaki in the company of another author from Grand-Remous, Jean-Luc Lacroix, to present her writing process.
