Exhibition “La Maison d’Albertine” at the Espace Dominique Bagouet as part of the 39th edition of the Comédie du livre

The exhibition Albertine’s house presents at the Espace Dominique Bagouet a selection of Albertine’s illustration work. The work, largely constructed by four hands with Germano Zullo, and published by La Joie de lire, dialogues with different characters who populate the exhibition space. It is a question of humanity, of connection, of transmission but also of its creative process, strong in an intimate link between text and image. Albertine draws much more than she illustrates. The concern is to say, to relate, to become one with the narration. For this, many of the artist’s notebooks are also revealed, like small laboratories on paper.

Albertine’s house, designed for young and old, also offers a lounge for all audiences with books for consultation and a screening of short films.
