A retired schoolteacher and historian working for the magazine Cap Caval and Cahiers d’Iroise, Claude Péron knew his grandfather until the age of seven. The latter was named Pirn Bihan, “little Péron” in Breton. “He was only 1.50 meters tall. He escaped the war of 14-18 thanks to this”smiles Claude Péron.
