In partnership with the Folle Avoine bookstore and the Contrat Territoire Lecture d’Ouest Aveyron Community, the author-winemaker Catherine Bernard will present her book “Lambrusque” at the municipal media library, Thursday October 10 at 6 p.m.

It is in free verse that she tells of her passion for work and her relationship to this land of Languedoc steeped in wine and viticultural history since Gallo-Roman Antiquity, and the consequences of climate change on this culture.

This work of poetic reflection is “the story of an encounter, that of Lambrusca, the wild vine, and Sapiens, the man, of their marriage with the earth and the sky, of the civilization that they gave birth to, of drifts which have distanced them from the earth and the sky.

Originally from , journalist for 20 years (La Tribune-Libération), Catherine Bernard, with her professional viticulture-oenology certificate in hand, settled in Languedoc in 2004, where she continued her creative work.
