Aurore Bergé confirms having filed a complaint for defamation, after the publication of the investigative book “Les Ogres”

Former minister Aurore Bergé confirmed, Tuesday 1^is October, having filed a complaint for defamation after the publication of the book “Les Ogres” by Victor Castanet evoking a “non-aggression pact” that she would have concluded with the private nursery lobby. The representative of private crèches announced on September 21 that she had been able “exchange directly” with Aurore Bergé, “as the minister did with other actors”but she had denied having spent the slightest “pact”.

Following the publication of Victor Castanet’s investigation, the deputies of the Ecologist and Social group requested the launch of a procedure in the National Assembly to “perjury” against Aurore Bergé. They suspect her of having ignored relations with lobbies before a commission of inquiry into the economic model of crèches. “In no case have I lied in a commission of inquiry, in no case have I perjured myself in a commission of inquiry”the former minister reaffirmed Tuesday on Franceinfo, denouncing allegations “based on the statements of political adversaries”.
