Two science fiction books by François Manson and Bernard Henninger, and crowdfunding for Blogger de Loire editions. – ActuSF

Small publishing house located in Orléans and specialized in science fiction, Blogger de Loire sent us a little note for two pieces of information. First of all, they have just published at the beginning of April a novella by François Manson, member of the Julia Verlanger prize, entitled Full Pockets, Empty Pockets.

Here is the summary:In a slum in Mexico City, Inès serves as a pocket for pharmaceutical laboratories. Her husband beats her and would drink all the money if she didn’t hide some of it. When her doctor tells her that she will have to stop, after a final contract which will allow her to retire, her daily life is shattered…“.

This book is around a hundred pages long and can be ordered here.

Another project, a novel by Bernard Henninger, boss of the publishing house and author himself. His title, Free electrons. This time there is crowdfunding underway on Ulule.

And here is the pitch.
“Two beings are mobilized for a colonial conflict whose origin no one remembers. Although impervious to the mush of great principles that is served to them, they carry out their duty and accomplish the path that has always been theirs… And if wars were just vanity? What if the main thing was elsewhere? What if history played out on other paths? The characters are modified humans from the future: the adults are equipped with either wings or wings? feather or skin, or a second pair of arms, or nothing.”
