Sylvie Loubet, Nelly Espinosa, Caroline Taquet and Geneviève Vaguer can once again be satisfied with the success achieved last Saturday by the third edition of the Bessan book fair. Those responsible but also the real little hands of the Renée-Petit library (Dominique, Léa, etc.) have enabled the rebirth and, above all, the continuity of this cultural event initiated for the first time in 2016. In a village hall Aimé Perfectly organized Péret, the event supported by the municipality was a success thanks to a particularly eclectic program.

More than fifty authors and publishers presented their very varied works: novels, comics, heritage, history, heritage, youth… The meetings induced with these professionals or amateurs seem to have lived up to expectations, while meetings, workshops and other friendly and humorous moments were offered to the public, in particular with the participation of the Théâtre Illustré or the Guilde 2 Bessan.

The inauguration of the mid-day meeting was held in the presence of the mayor, Stéphane Pépin-Bonet, Sylvie Loubet recalling the genesis of the organization of the show, the objectives of the library and the relay of numerous partners. As the mayor indicated, next September, the library will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary and the municipality will be alongside the volunteers to mark the event with dignity, remembering Renée Petit, present remotely.
