Lyon-based illustrator Caro From Woodland releases a recipe book

This is news that should delight the Caroline Millet community.

She is known under the pseudonym Caro From Woodland on social networks where she shares her illustrations throughout the seasons. Caroline Millet has a loyal community with nearly 86,000 subscribers on Instagram and more than 32,000 on YouTube.

This community also pushed the illustrator to carry out her latest project, which will be available from October 2 in all bookstores. My little cozy treats from the 4 seasons (Albin Michel) will offer readers 80 sweet recipes once again highlighting the seasons. It must be said that Caro From Woodland has already released three self-published books where she does not fail to highlight the different seasons of the year with drawings, advice and recipes.

Among the recipes (25 of which are new), we find apple turnover, ghost meringues for Halloween, carrot cake… “I tried to adapt the recipes according to the seasons while sublimating the illustrations in watercolor to bring them to life“, explains Caroline Millet who speaks of a “beautiful book designed for the kitchen“.

The recipes also have the particularity of being “accessible” to everyone. “I’m not a chef. Rather, these are the recipes from my normal life which are family recipes that are simple and quick to make. There are no weird ingredients, complicated formulas and utensils you might not have in your kitchen. These are cozy family recipes“, summarizes Caroline Millet.

This first experience in traditional publishing will not be the only project this fall for the illustrator based in Civrieux-d’Azergues, a few kilometers from . An autumn collection of products derived from his illustrations is planned in a few days with mugs, puzzles, tea towels… Objective? “Appreciate each season at its true value and not endure them“.

A signing session of My little cozy treats from the 4 seasons is also scheduled for Saturday October 19 at the Decitre Bellecour bookstore in Lyon.
