This Group 4 of League A of the Nations League promises to be exciting! Reigning European champion, Spain should finish in first place. The race for second place and the second ticket to qualify for the quarter-finals will be much more uncertain. This could notably be between Denmark and Switzerland. The two nations will meet on the first day of the Nations League, this Thursday at 8:45 p.m. A match that will be played at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. Denmark was far from shining during the last Euro. It qualified for the round of 16, with 3 draws. The Danish selection then left at the start of the knockout matches, against Germany (2-0).
Switzerland is in a much better dynamic. The Nati was one of the nice surprises of this Euro 2024. Undefeated during the group stage, it was able to hang on to the host country Germany (1-1). The Swiss players then made a strong impression by beating Italy, then defending champion, in the round of 16 (2-0). Granit Xhaka’s teammates came close to achieving a new feat in the next round, against England. However, they fell on penalties. They nevertheless knew how to hold their own against a big name from the Old Continent. Switzerland will not want to let up for the start of the Nations League.
