Comedian Elena Nagapetyan was the guest of the 8/9 and of Morning First for his show It was worth itwhich she will perform on September 22 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels.

After deciding to start stand-up comedy three years ago, Elena Nagapetyan found meteoric success through social media, and has been selling out theaters ever since.

Born in Uzbekistan before arriving in France, she lived for ten years in Russia. A country she talks about in her show, but also her life as a woman, including pregnancy, postpartum depression and divorce.

It was the desire to share my story that brought me on stage” she says. “According to my relatives, humor has always been there. And when you change country, school and environment, you have to adapt.

Maybe humor is a good way to adapt, to protect ourselves, to face what life presents to us.

On stage, Elena Nagapetyan allows herself a lot of interaction with the audience. There is an hour of written show” she explains. “Sometimes someone interrupts me and we adapt, and sometimes I’m the one asking questions at specific moments in the show, I give them the floor and we discuss.

A show to discover on September 22 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels, but also for two dates in 2025: May 13 at the Forum in Liège and May 14 back at the Cirque Royal.
