VRT journalist Fatma Taspinar (41) and intensivist Geert Meyfroidt (52) are expecting their first child together. Taspinar will still be seen on screen during her pregnancy.

Taspinar and Meyfroidt first met in the VRT news studio. The physician-professor came to explain the corona crisis. Not there and then, but a little later, the spark ignited.
