ASSE formalizes a departure!

Back in Ligue 1 this season, ASSE is looking to adjust its squad in the middle of the transfer window. Among the movements envisaged, a young talent trained at the club is leaving, ready to take on a new challenge.

Born May 7, 2003 in Tremblay-en-, Yanis Lhéry is a promising striker, trained at AS Saint-Étienne since 2018. Before his arrival in Forez, he made his debut at FC Livry-Gargan and continued his progression at FC . Integrated into the prestigious Greens training center, he refines his technical and tactical qualities, while representing France in youth selections. With the U16s, he played six matches and scored one goal, and obtained a selection with the U17s, thus confirming his potential.

In 2020, Yanis joined the ASSE reserve team, where he distinguished himself by scoring 14 goals in 34 matches. This work paid off when he made his debut in Ligue 1 on May 23, 2021 against . In order to continue to progress, he was loaned during the 2023-2024 season to Progrès Niederkorn, in Luxembourg, where he gained experience with 11 matches played and one goal scored.

Returning to ASSE in 2024, Yanis Lhéry fully integrates into the club's project. With the transfer window in full swing, this versatile and talented player could be offered a new opportunity to take a step forward in his career.
