It must be said that this action program offers many scenes full of tensions and sequences worthy of American blockbusters, without forgetting to be documented and therefore realistic. And for good reason: the plot takes place within the French special forces, while these are deployed in Iraq, on the eve of the Battle of Mosul, in October 2016. The soldiers of this special unit must exfiltrate relatives from a French emir of Daesh in exchange for his collaboration.
- During its broadcast in 2023, the first season of Black hearts had impressed by its staging which offers total immersion at the heart of this special forces commando. The spectators had held the adventures of the group 45 carefully, making the series both a critical and popular success.
Season 2 of Black hearts Resumes directly after the events of the first season, that is to say after the removal of the Snipeuse SAB. But the mobilization of group 45 will be slowed down by the arrival of a DGSE agent and complicated negotiations with Zaïd. To this are added complex situations on the ground and conflicts within the commando, the mission promises to be perilous.
The cast of the first season, produced by Frédéric Jardin, is back: we find in particular Nicolas Duvauchelle, Nina Meurisse or Jérémy Nadeau in the leading roles. Season 2 of Black hearts is put online on Prime Video on May 9, 2025.
