The average gross monthly salary in the Horeca sector is 3.421 eurosaccording to the latest figures from the Jobat wage barometer. An increase of 19.9% ​​compared to the average of 2020, where 2,852 euros/month was earned. On the other hand, it is also 26.22% less compared to the general average of 4,318 euros gross per month all sectors combined.

As in any industry, wages in the Horeca increase as employees accumulate seniority or progress in their careers. As a framework, you earn more than as non-rowing. Non-cadres occupy positions such as the kitchen clerk, the cook, the diver or the server. The functions of executives are rather management positions such as managers or managers within a chain.

Who wins the most/the least?

Unfortunately, there is still a remuneration gap between men and women in the Horeca sector. Men win on average 3.593 euros per month while women must be satisfied with 3.125 euros gross per month.

What about extralegal benefits?
