
Snow, rain, wind: there will be everything.
Hans depression will fall on northern Italy (Piedmont, Lombardy) and Switzerland (Ticino, Valais). Up to 300 mm of cumulation in places are expected, especially in Swiss Ticino.
A depression which should also bring its share of bad weather in France.
Indeed, Météo France has placed three departments on orange alert. These are Savoy (avalanches) and two Corsican departments (flood rain). An orange color of rigor this Wednesday evening as well as all day Thursday.
Snow, wind, rain …
Météo France provides in particular “Remarkable avalanche activity on the massifs of Haute-Maurienne and Haute-Tarentaise (Savoie). In conjunction with the hauns of precipitation is in place on Corsica and intensify the night from Wednesday to Thursday”.
“On the third party in the country”, “The rain-snow limit around 800 to 1100 m on the Jura and the Alpine valleys, dating back to 2000-2200 on the border ridges where the expected snowfall are very important. Corsica will be particularly watered with more than 100 mm.
