A young man was found dead this Thursday, May 8 in the Conte district, in Carcassonne. If the circumstances of the drama remain unclear, the Carcassonne prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for homicide. The identity of the victim also remains unknown.
An important police system was deployed this Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the end of the morning in the sensitive district of the tale, in Carcassonne, after the discovery of the body of a young man on rue Diderot. The emergency services, alerted around noon, quickly intervened to assist him. When they arrived at the scene, the firefighters unfortunately could not do anything to save him: the man had already died. The Samu doctor, also mobilized, could only confirm the death.
For the time being, these elements are the only certainties available to investigators in the face of this drama which took place near a deal of deal in the neighborhood. An investigation for homicide was opened by the Carcassonne prosecutor’s office. It was entrusted to the police of the Perpignan judicial police service.
