In France, the networks of public transport like RATP In Paris prohibit the transport of objects deemed bulky. The rules specify that the luggage or transported objects must not exceed 75 cm in their largest dimension. Longer objects, up to 2 meters, can be accepted if they do not measure more than 20 cm in their other dimensions and are kept vertically. In fact, a medium or large plant can be considered an inconvenient object. This was experienced by a 24 -year -old Parisian verbalized up to 150 euros for transporting a plant of 1.30 meters by 25 cm in the metro.
