A cycling race still reserves its share of unforeseen events, and the Amstel Gold female this year has not failed in this tradition. What was to be a fierce battle between the big favorites has turned into a scenario where the outsider Mischa Bredewold (SD World-Protime) won solo, leaving behind a group of daring escapes.

Finally, the finish line revealed its verdict: Bredewold triumphed, while the peloton crossed the line 1 minute and 55 seconds later. Once again, cycling has shown that a race is never played in advance, and the Amstel Gold Race 2025 is now in the annals as a race full of surprises.
