new faces for cult characters. The production company Warner Bros revealed, this Monday, several names for the casting of the next series “Harry Potter”, a remake of the essential saga telling the story of Hogwarts wizards.
In the casting, therefore, we will find actor John Lithgow, recently seen in “Conclave”, “Dexter”, or even “The Crown”, where he interpreted the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. In the new “Harry Potter” series, John Lithgow will have the heavy task of taking on the role of Albus Dumbledore, the illustrious director of the Sorcerer’s school.
By her side, British actress Janet McTeer (“Jessica Jones”, “Ozark”) will interpret Professor Minerva McGonagall, while the British actor Paapa Essiedu (“I May Destroy You”, “Black Mirror”) will have the role of Professor Severus Rogue. The cult Rubeus Hagrid will be played by the British humorist Nick Frost, seen in particular in “Good Morning England”.
Still in the Hogwarts teaching team, the young Luke Thallon will perform Professor Quirrell, while Paul Whitehouse, a regular on the little British screen, will play Argus Rusard.
