In the very supplied program of the commemoration of May 8, 1945, in Saint-Epain, one of the highlights will be the theatrical performance of Hervé Moisan, who will retrace the life of the Goupille family, Descartes, during the war. “It is only one-in-scène that I mounted from the story of André Goupille, famous resistant Tourangeau”, explains the storyteller and actor. André Goupille, veterinarian in Descartes, member of the resistance network of Father Péan, was deported in 1944 with several members of his family. They have all returned, and will be recognized as just among the nations.
Saint-Epain will therefore host one of the first performances of this show entitled When will you come back?, By Hervé Moisan, on a text by François Lebeau, Wednesday May 7, 2025, at 7 p.m., in the Jeanne d’Arc room.
It will be for Hervé Moisan the departure of a tour: he will be on May 9 in Bléré, on September 20 in Atheurus-sur-Cher, on October 17 in Mettray for performances for all audiences. He will also perform in front of 3rd classes by the end of the school year, in Nouâtre, Ligueil and Bléré.
Free. It is essential to reserve your places with the town hall of Saint-Épain, at 02.47.65.80.21 (very limited gauge).
