In the very supplied of the commemoration of May 8, 1945, in Saint-Epain, one of the highlights will be the theatrical performance of Hervé Moisan, who will retrace the life of the Goupille , Descartes, during the war. “It is only one-in-scène that I mounted from the story of André Goupille, famous resistant Tourangeau”, explains the storyteller and actor. André Goupille, veterinarian in Descartes, member of the resistance network of Father Péan, was deported in 1944 with several members of his family. They have all returned, and will be recognized as just among the nations.

Saint-Epain will therefore host one of the performances of this show entitled When will you come back?, By Hervé Moisan, on a text by François Lebeau, May 7, 2025, at 7 p.m., in the Jeanne d’Arc room.
