It was in the Manche, in Ducey-les-Chéris, that the final of the young people’s young Normandy championship took place, at the end of March 2025. Awarding the title of regional champion 2025 and qualifying for the French championshipsthis competition brought together 113 young people from the Juniors chick category.
The most represented Neubourg QTT
In each of the categories, the sixteen best Norman and Normandy Pables were qualified for this final. Among all the participating clubs, that of the Neubourg QTT (Eure) was the most represented with eleven young qualified: “ This is a first for us. Never have we had so many qualified. It is a great reward and proof that the work of training we have started for several seasons, with our main coach Guillaume Wable, bears fruit, ”says President Philippe Leroy with a large smile.
Three podiums, two titles
And in this competition bringing together the gratin of the young Norman pingists, the Neubourg did not do figuration, since they won Two champions titles and a bronze medal. “This is also a first, because we had never won a regional title in this individual championship,” continues Philippe Leroy.
The two gold medals were obtained by Rowan Duhamel-Bremont in the junior category, and Soline Delay (5) In chicks.
Player of the Fanion team in National 3, Rowan Duhamel-Bremont (16) made a faultless course, concluded by a victory in the final, 3 sets at 0, against Nattan Bellien (1,825-SPO Rouen). With this title of champion of Normandy, Rowan is qualified for the junior French championships, where he will represent Normandy and his club in Neubourg QTT, from May 2 to 4 in Saint-Quentin (Aisne).
The third Neubourg podium returned to Gwendoline Crépin (883), with the bronze medal in the youngest.
Other results: Alice Lemonnier (1/4 finals), younger; Giulia Crépin (1/4 final), minimal; Arthur de Vriese (1/4 final), cadets; Lubin Publier (8th finals), minimal; Léo Meheu (8th finals), chicks; Lucy Le Toquin (8th finals), Benjamines; Alex Meheu (4th in hen), chicks and leo planted (4th in pool), minimal.
2nd of the Challenge Clubs
The icing on the cake, in addition to the three individual medals, the Neubourg QTT climbed on the 2nd step of the podium for the club challenge. “A classification of clubs was established following the individual results of the players obtained in each category, throughout the day. We finish behind US Bois-Guillaume and in front of Caen TTC. It is a great pride, and A great spotlight on our training.
