This season, the Plouescat table tennis club, with its 31 licensees, has started three teams, who play in D1, D3 and D5 respectively, in phase 2 of the Finistère championship. At the end of March and early April 2025, during the last games in which the Plouescatais club participated, the three teams won all of their matches. “The D3 team is particularly distinguished by rising at the head of its pool, which opens the way to a possible climb in D2,” rejoices Jean-Paul Leroy, club president and coach.
The latter also indicates that three players stand out for their progress, as evidenced by the points scored by each during the season, according to a scale of points won and lost in table tennis. “Samy Fitament increased by 62.3 points and Rowann Roué by 94.5 points. Jonas Peltret-Bassartier, on the other hand, is experiencing a spectacular progression of 192.1 points, “says Jean-Paul Leroy. There are still two games to play for each team to establish the final assessment of this beautiful sports season.
