The tennis player Braun Levi, a rising star of the Loyola high school, died after being overthrown by a car while he was walking with a friend to Manhattan Beach, California. The driver was drunk behind the wheel of her vehicle.
The facts occurred at 12:46 am on Boulevard Sepulveda. Manhattan Beach (MBPD) police said they had received an accident involving a pedestrian.
“Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the victim died of his injuries,” said the MBPD. The MBPD also reports that the driver of the accident vehicle, Jenia Belt, 33, was arrested and indicted for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The “Loyola High School” announced the death of her young prodigy, promised a big future on the international circuit: “Levi, 18, was captain of the Loyola tennis team and has been playing there for four years.
