Boulanger made his little pack in his corner by bringing together two TP-Link Tapo surveillance cameras. One is made to monitor the interior, the other for the outside, all in 2K with motorized automatic follow -up so as not to lose the subject of view. Not only is this pack interesting, but it is more cheaper since you save 30 euros on it. An ideal duo to equip your home with good equipment and check what’s going on, inside or around, as soon as you are absent. TC41 monitors the surroundings in 2K
The first camera in this lot is the TP-Link Tapo TC41, a model that rises at the bottom, fixed to the ceiling, to film in 2304 × 1296 pixels day and night. Even if you have to place it in a strategic location, you can count on its engine to rotate it at 360 ° horizontally and thus follow what is going on in front of the sensor. As for the vertical, it can switch to 130 °, which is more than enough for surveillance.
It is IP65 certified to be placed outside. If a movement is detected, you receive a notification on your smartphone and can detect a light and/or sound remote alarm, to dissuade any intruders. The camera works on the mains, it also applies to TC71, but it may require a little more DIY for the outside.
TC71, a 2K panoramic camera compatible Google and Alexa
On the same principle, you have TP-Link Tapo TC71, a model that is rather made to be placed on a piece of furniture. The operation and the functions are almost the same, with the 2K sensor, the bidirectional audio or the possibility of rotating the camera remotely with the engine. Except that here, the vertical inclination is limited to 114 °. You can add a 512 GB microSD card to store videos and other recorded clips.
The camera has a special function that automatically detects baby crying. If you have a little one that sleeps in a distant room, it can be a solution to move away with the peace of mind. Via the app, available for both cameras, you can define activity zones, to monitor a particular place, to avoid being overwhelmed with notifications.
