Do you like house transformations?
Chip and Joanna Gaines, which we know very well for their superb transformations, work on a unique project: the restoration of a “Shotgun” house for the Bell family.
After the family has chosen this house, she discovers that a promoter bought the whole block. Instead of demolishing it, the promoter gave them the house with the condition of moving it on a new land nearby.
The ducts, challenged by the state of the house, managed to restore it with creativity, preserving its history and maximizing space with an innovative loft.
The result is really surprising! Take a look at the photos shared by the Country Living site.
It took a lot of imagination to see the potential of this show filled with debris, right?
Joanna said on her blog that the house had been abandoned and invaded by critters and perhaps even by rats and mice. The kitchen was not in better condition.
The exterior, completely magnificent, offers us a promising overview of the renovated interior. The latter is characterized by a warm style and quality materials. We particularly appreciate the color of the coating. What do you think?
Do you remember the living room shown previously? Isn’t it beautiful now?
Joanna opted for a sober color on the walls with a few touches of yellow to sprinkle the decor. Two windows let natural light enter inside.
-We find the sober beige of the walls in the fitted kitchen with a large island allowing three seats. To accentuate the kitchen space effect, Joanna opted for tablets to store some bowls and pitches while promoting significant storage in the cabinets. Do you like? We love it.
A dark turquoise coats people who sleep in the master room. Dark furniture contrasts wonderfully well with this shade and with the decoration chosen.
A pretty bedroom that invites a good night’s sleep.
The shower pleasantly surprises with its generous dimensions.
We like a little less the style of vanity and its top which seems to be in concrete … We would have preferred a more classic vanity but, this choice is still very good with the other elements of the decor. Your impressions?
Favorite for the floor of the washing room!
We find a charming little boudoir with the mezzanine; The perfect place for reading, take a nap on the sofa, forget about everyday obligations.
The house is not very wide but is so well appointed that we forget its very narrow rectangular shape.
Joanna and Chip have done a remarkable job, right?
