A conception designed for comfort and safety with good sound
OpenFit Air uses an open-ear approach without bone conduction: here, no vibration in terms of temples as on other Shokz models, but conduction technology by cartilage, softer and less tiring in use. The headphones are placed around the ear with an ultralight stem (8.7 g each), and remain in place, even during a jogging or a scooter trip.
This format has a double interest: no feeling of blocked ear, and possibility of listening to the environment, horns, voice, atmosphere … A real plus for urban sportsmen, mobile workers, or simply those who do not like to lock themselves in a sound bubble.
Despite the opening, the sound remains well defined: Shokz has developed a membrane of 18 × 11 mm per atrium, capable of delivering net mediums and correct low volume bass.
