The situation on the labor market in Switzerland has improved slightly in April. The unemployment rate fell to 2.8%, according to the State Secretariat for the Economy (SECO). It was 2.9% in March.

During the month under review, the number of unemployed decreased by 1.9% compared to the previous month to reach 130,101 people, according to SECO figures published on Tuesday.
