Call for candidates: Jura 2025 youth prize with Moutier!

The canton of the Jura invites young Jura jurassians aged 12 to 25 to apply for the fourteenth edition of the Jura Youth Prize.

This price, with 5,000 francs, aims to support and encourage young people in the realization of projects with a positive impact on the company. It aims to enhance initiatives in the cultural, environmental, social or sporting fields, by rewarding promising ideas or by helping their realization.

Since its creation in 2011 under the aegis of the Department of the Interior and the Coordination Commission in charge of the development of the youth policy, this competition has already made it possible to take precedence over thirteen projects among a hundred applications submitted.

By somewhat anticipating the official reception of the city of Moutier and with the wish to promote the links between its young citizens and those of the canton of Jura, the Prévôtois candidates are also invited to take part in the competition. This opening marks the rapprochement and progressive integration of Moutier within the canton of the Jura.

Young Jerassians and Jerassians interested are invited to send the presentation of their project to the youth delegate by August 31, 2025. The finalists will have the opportunity to defend their idea before a jury and an audience in the final which will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025 in Delémont.
