On May 7, 2025, come and meet exceptional women during an inspiring exchange around sport and equal opportunities.
As part of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, the city of Morges is organizing an evening dedicated to the valuation of women’s sport and the diversity of women’s trajectories in this area. The event is part of the cantonal plan to promote sport and women’s football and aims to raise public awareness of the challenges of equality, representation and commitment to sport.
This round table will bring together renowned Swiss female athletes from various disciplines:
- Léa Sprunger, sprinter and specialist in combined events
- Timea Bacsinszky, professional tennis player
- Laura Tofo, footballer at Servette FC Chênois Female
- Beatriz Pérez, President of the Women’s Commission of the Vaud Cantonal Football Association (ACVF)
The discussion will be hosted by Sarah RÉCE, editorial manager of the Journal de Morges, and will focus on the challenges encountered by women in the sports environment, levers to overcome them, as well as the crucial role of female models in the inspiration of new generations.
This evening, organized by the Sports Office of the City of Morges with the support of the canton of Vaud, is an invitation to think, exchange and advance sport together towards more equality and inclusion.
