Faced with the gravity of the facts, the members had asked the mayor of Athis-Val-de-Rouvre, Alain Lange, to accompany them in this meeting. “During the exchange with the two people concerned, The treasurer recognized the factswho turned out, ”explains the mayor.

“A significant financial impact”

“We wondered about the possibility of a amicable arrangementbut this is prohibited by law: it would make us accomplices of the situation. The decision was then made to file a complaint, a complaint which was filed by the members of the office, ”adds Alain Lange.

The magnitude of the diversion is not known, it is the survey which will make it possible to establish the amount. But the mayor stresses that “this financial impact is not negligible, it is necessary that the case continues in terms of justice”.

The club, the priority of the city

Priority remains the club, with a reconstituted team that can continue its activities with the same dynamism. This event does not detract from this collective which is mobilizing to find funding.

It is in this perspective of continuity and transparency that the mayor was contacted, and that he himself wanted to exchange it with the League with the Committee. Following this breach of confidence of the treasurer, the councilor and the members of the office felt a “huge disappointment”.

“Faced with all this, solidarity must take precedence with football players, but also families and partners of the US Athis, to turn the page and that the club rebounds in the best possible conditions,” wishes the elected official.

A new office and a long procedure

The legal proceedings will be long: “It is necessary to wait minimum two years before it succeeded,” warns Alain Lange.
